Welcome to MythosArcade. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of mythosarcade.com (the "Platform"), operated by Ben ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, uploading a game, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who Can Use MythosArcade

MythosArcade is a family-friendly platform and is designed to be safe and appropriate for all ages, including children. By using the Platform, you agree to behave accordingly and to follow the content rules set out in Section 4.

If you are under 13, you must have a parent or guardian's permission to create an account. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account without your permission, please contact us so we can remove it.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Game Ownership and Content You Upload

You own your games. Uploading a game to MythosArcade does not transfer ownership to us in any way. You retain full rights to anything you create and upload.

By uploading a game, you grant MythosArcade a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and make your game playable on the Platform, solely for the purpose of operating the site. This licence exists only so we can technically host and serve your game to players — it does not give us ownership, and we will not sell, license, or use your game outside of the Platform without your separate permission.

You can remove your content at any time. You may request removal of any game you've uploaded, and we will take it down. You don't need to give a reason.

You're responsible for what you upload. You confirm that:

You created the game yourself, or have the right to upload and share it
It does not infringe on anyone else's copyright, trademark, or intellectual property
It does not contain malicious code, malware, or anything designed to harm users or their devices

4. Content Rules (Content Guidelines)

Because MythosArcade is a family-friendly platform open to all ages, all uploaded games and any associated content (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, comments) must not contain:

Sexual, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content of any kind
Nudity
Graphic violence, gore, or content intended to disturb or shock
Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting any individual or group based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or other protected characteristics
Content promoting self-harm, drug use, or other dangerous behaviour
Harassment, bullying, or content targeting real individuals
Illegal content of any kind
Malware, viruses, or any code intended to harm users, their devices, or the Platform itself
Spam, scams, or misleading content

All games are reviewed before going live on the Platform. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or unpublish any game or content that breaches these rules, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension or a permanent ban from the Platform.

5. Comments and Feedback

Users may comment on games and leave feedback for creators. The same content rules in Section 4 apply to all comments and feedback. We reserve the right to remove any comment or feedback that breaches these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The MythosArcade name, logo, and platform design are the property of MythosArcade and may not be used without permission. This does not apply to the games and content you upload, which remain yours as set out in Section 3.

7. Advertising

MythosArcade may display third-party advertising to help cover the cost of running the Platform. We aim to keep advertising appropriate for a family-friendly audience and will make reasonable efforts to ensure ads served on the Platform meet that standard, though we cannot guarantee the content of every ad served by third-party ad networks.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

MythosArcade is provided "as is." Games on the Platform are created and uploaded by individual creators, and we do not guarantee the performance, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of any game.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MythosArcade is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of access, or issues arising from third-party content.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the Platform grows. If we make significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

You may delete your account and request removal of your content at any time by contacting us.
